Workers at Telecommunications On Demand view photos that have been stripped of information about the users who posted them. Rapidly cycling through pages of 300 images each, they are asked to flag material that is obviously pornographic or violent, illegal in a certain country or deemed inappropriate by a specific Web site. With the rise of Web sites built around material submitted by users, screeners have never been in greater demand. Some Internet firms have tried to get by with software that scans photos for, say, a large area of flesh tones, but nothing is a substitute for a discerning human eye.


December 15, 2008 – TOD partners with a new call center

Telecommunications On Demand partners with a 20 seats call center in Clearwater, Fl and expands the center to more than 80 sales representatives.

Telecommunications on Demand hits a milestone and is now viewing more than 25 million images per day.


January 20, 2006 – TOD partners with the largest social networking site

Telecommunications On Demand partners with the largest social networking site and becomes a pioneer in online content screening/management.


February 2004 – TOD expands its call centers

Telecommunications On Demand opens two new call centers in Orlando with capacity for 600 agents.
